Avto Union is part of Equest Investment Balkans. It's a holding company managing the importers of seven automotive and 3 scooter brands, as well as the providers of other automotive products and services in Bulgaria. Companies in Avto Union structure include Auto Italia , with sole distribution rights of Fiat and Lancia cars; Milano Motors with sole importer rights of Alfa Romeo cars, Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera motorbikes; Gransport Auto - official importer of Maserati cars; Star Motors, exclusive importer of Mazda cars; and Bulvaria, joint importer of Opel and Chevrolet cars for Bulgaria;

Additionally Avto Union owns Motobul, sole distributor of BP and Castrol lubricants for Bulgaria and AVIS Bulgaria, providing rent-a-car and fleet services. Avto Union strategy includes structuring of business processes in the subsidiary companies, investment in improvement and development of their distribution networks, as well as maintaining strict "Chinese Walls" in between the marketing companies as per requirements of OEM companies.

On the 15th May Avto Union Holding opened Avto Union Center, a first of its kind building, which comprises of offices, halls, exhibition rooms, and a sales and repair service for all the italian cars available on the bulgarian market. In their new home, Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Maserati are located in designer showrooms, which are spread out on 2700 m2, with available space to show over 80 cars at the same time, and a repair service, which takes up 4100 m2.
